Why 13 / XIII?

The number 13 has deep roots in both horror and punk culture, shaped by superstition, fear, and defiance. In horror, it’s long been tied to bad luck and the supernatural—from medieval triskaidekaphobia and the Last Supper to the enduring mythos of Friday the 13th, which cemented the number as a symbol of death and the macabre.

In punk and horror punk, 13 becomes something else entirely: a badge of rebellion. It represents embracing what’s feared, rejected, or misunderstood.
